If a rancher has 33 head of cattle standing in a field when suddenly a bolt of lightning kills all but 9 of them then how many head of cattle are left standing? |
[Edit] |
Answer
9 because the lightning kills ALL, BUT nine cattle. So all the cattle are dead except for 9
I think 0 because wouldn't the lightning strike frighten the cattle that are left?
Answer
I read the question wrong I thought you would have to subtract 9 from 33 or something but really the answer would be 9 because if there is 33 and the lightning kills all but 9 then it would be 9 because the nine that survived would be alive and still standing.
