This maybe simple lust (emotional or chemical) but can equally be emotional (true homosexuality - although Homosexual can only really be used as a term for humans or HOMO sapiens).

Yes- all heifer cows are. we know when to breed (artificially inseminate) them after we see that they are in heat. we tell that they are in heat because one heifer will get on top of another heifer's back.
