well putting aside the spelling none because the foxEs would eat them up

First, 5 foxes are no match for 2 good sheepdogs. Second, the foxes I am familiar with are too small to pose much of a threat to a sheep. The whole pack could eat for a week on one kill, so assuming lazy sheepdogs and overly-aggressive foxes, there will be no sheep left after about 10 years.
