What was the role of the people in a democracy? |

A democratic country is one and only type of government where pepole have more freedom.People are selecting the rulers , for them.If the ruler is not good they are having the right to tell that because in a democratic government they have the right to express their views freely .If it is a non democratic country suppose that millitary rule or if the leader is autocracy how can they express,if they did so they will be arrested or tourched by the ruler.Also people ,they all can discous and make a decision if it is a non democrtic country the ruler will take decision wheather it is gud or bad no problem for that ruler.The government is answerable to the people and there are uncountable roles are there for people in a democratic government.Shortly a democratic government is by the pepole,for the people and to the people.
