There are several websites that feature fix-it-yourself fiberglass boat repair. I know if I were to seek this information, I would start with my local Library first.

Although answer 1 is not incorrect, I suggest that the manufacturers of the products to be used in the repair usually provide very good instructions both ON the product label, and often again on a printed insert or brochure, all of which are available at most marine supply house stores.j3h.
