Because this is a site which is used internationally, the word "foreign" is really meaningless! Foreign to where? Instead, see the Web Links below which have many biographies and other information about the world's most famous chemists and their contributions to the field of chemistry.

The clever person would use the link to the Wikipedia post listing the winners of the Nobel Prize in Chemistry and look it over. Or the one put up by the Nobel Foundation listing the Nobel Prize winners in Chemistry. If you are tackling a homework question, this post, entitled "List of Nobel Laureates in Chemistry" by our friends at Wikipedia, will be a life saver. So will the one put up by the Nobel Foundation.
