Who first decided that we need a God to worship and die for anyway?

[Edit]

Answer

You ever notice a feeling inside, like a hole that you can't quite fill up? You buy cool stuff, a nice car, house, etc., you get a good job, wife, kids ... and still the feeling persists; like there just has to be more. One more thing and you'll finally be done. Fulfilled. But it never seems to happen, so you pay attention to that hole, you try to figure out what it would take to fill it, but nothing seems to be the right size or shape.
It's a God shaped hole that only a relationship with Him can fill. Once you get to know Him the hole is filled to over flowing, and the love for Him that over flows from your heart gets expressed as worship.
We don't worship because we have to, we worship because we want to, and we don't die for Him ... He died for us. Sincerely ask Him to reveal Himself to you and He will.

God had decided that we needed to worship him... if we wanted to. God is in everything that we sense in this life on earth. If we can somehow catch a glimpse of him and realize that he does in fact exist he will call to us. If we are not distracted by this worlds temptations we will answer to his call and in turn seek him. God initiates the relationship, we follow through, he guides us through his Spirit and those who belong to him that live among us. He provided us with his word to instruct us in which ways to follow him by using the New Testament concerning Jesus Christ.

Answer

I would love to know that.. ! :Maybe some wakoo, sitting on a mountain in the early years of life. Could be schizophrenic, maybe he saw things... dont know. Funny and cruel idea. Sorry to the believers, no intention in being cruel.

Answer

God is responsible for our inherent need to worship, God put that desire and need in us when he created us.

Answer

There have been gods and goddesses for thousands upon thousands of years. The inception of such a belief or at least the majority of them, was/is to explain those things which seemed to have no reason for being. Such as plantets, stars, natural disasters, the origin of life itself, and so forth It is an individual's right to decide what if anything to believe concerning a single omnipotent creator. Worshipping a god is not required in learning right from wrong and living an ethical, moral, productive life.

Answer

After a lot of research into the various religious beliefs of the highly commercialized regions of the world, I have come to the rational conclusion that God was created in the image and likeness of the rulers of that particular geographic location.

These rulers, through their advisors, created religions that targeted the fears of the people at the particular time. These advisors were similar to the marketing consultants and advertising specialists of today. The wealthy people found creative ways of keep the working-class people (slaves) obedient to their whim and fancy.

The working class people were threatened with eternal damnation for disobedience to the divine laws and instructions of an invisible authority called God. This God has created you in his image and likeness to obey and serve him with blind faith. This God choose special servants to be his messengers to his humble and obedient subjects. This God also commands that his loyal slaves must kill all those who do not obey his commandments.

Answer

Firstly GOD died for us through his son. No other religion can claim this. Other religion's gods make you die for them to prove your loyalty but rather the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob gave his own life as a ransom for many.

Secondly GOD instituted worship, not man. Even Jesus said, "If you do not praise me the rocks will cry out in praise to me". Even the earth praises God.

God seeks those who worship Him. He will not make you worship. One day, though, every knee shall bow and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord to the glory of God the Father. However, right now, you can choose not to worship if you don't want to. You will be missing out, though.

Answer

Since God created us I think God decided that.
