Answer
rust is an example of corrosion.it is a chemical reaction between a metal and a substances in the air,or water. Examples:silver tarnishehes, copper and brass go a green colour. corrosion causes a lot of damage, to buildings, bridges, railways, ships, and cars. as they all have a large iron content. so the rust on nails is caused by a chemical reaction with the metal and the subtance.
